Architecture at Barnard was my first taste of art in practice; it was there that my understanding of form and function was solidified. But, I found the medium too conventional, art for me has always been about freedom.
Now I create work that serves as an outlet for unfiltered expression, a space where unpractical practicality can exist. In an existence full of practical people, places, and things, my work exists as a reminder that the most essential element of life is not measured.
